How renewals work
Most MasseyMedia plugins are sold as annual subscriptions that auto-renew.
The renewal timeline
- 30 days before: we email a reminder showing the renewal date and amount.
- 7 days before: a final reminder, in case you missed the first.
- Renewal day: we charge the payment method on file. You'll get an invoice by email.
- If the charge fails: we retry over the next few days and email you to update the payment method. The license stays active during the retry window.
- If the retries fail: the subscription is paused. The plugin keeps running but stops getting updates until you re-subscribe.
Change the renewal date
We can't change the renewal date on an active subscription. To shift it, cancel auto-renewal and re-subscribe on the date you want. See Cancel a subscription.
Renewal discounts
Renewals are charged at the same price as your original purchase, even if our list prices have gone up since. The price increases only if you let the subscription lapse and re-subscribe later at the current rate.
