Licensing & billing questions

Are licenses per plugin or per site?

Per plugin. A Single license for MMTable Pro covers MMTable on one site. If you buy another MMPlugs plugin, that's a separate license with its own site count. Tier structure (Single / Five / Unlimited) is the same across the lineup. MMCRA Toolkit is the exception: its tiers count plugins under weekly monitoring, and sites are unlimited.

What counts as "a site"?

Each unique domain the plugin is activated on uses one seat. example.com and staging.example.com count as two. Either buy a tier with room for staging, or deactivate the plugin on staging when you don't need it.

Can I move a license between sites?

Site-seated plugins (like MMTable Pro) can be moved: activate on the new site, deactivate on the old — from Settings → (Plugin name) → License inside WordPress, or from your account page if you can't reach the old site any more. MMCRA Toolkit isn't site-seated at all: one license covers one author's plugins on unlimited sites — dev, staging, and production included — so there's nothing to move.

What happens if I cancel?

The plugin keeps running on every site it's activated on. You stop getting updates and support. Subscriptions stay active until the end of the period you've already paid for.

Is there a bundle discount for multiple plugins?

Not yet. Once we have three or more plugins shipping we'll add a bundle tier. If you're an agency about to buy several at once, email us — we'll work something out.

Is there a lifetime plan?

No. Lifetime licenses sound great until they're not — they bankrupt small plugin shops that promised unlimited updates with no ongoing revenue. Annual saves ~25%, no price-hikes on existing customers.

Do you offer educational or nonprofit discounts?

Yes — email [email protected] from a .edu or registered-nonprofit address with what you're building. We usually take 30% off.

Can I buy something custom?

MMPlugs is the productized arm of MasseyMedia, our agency. If your project needs a custom WordPress build or an integration that doesn't fit a plugin, talk to the agency directly.
